Abstract: It is widely believed that urban food gardens offer a wealth of environmental, economic and social benefits. Although true, few studies have actually measured these benefits. This talk will present the results of a long-term study that measured and quantified numerous benefits produced by an urban food garden and demonstrate how urban agriculture’s benefits can be documented.
