On September 30, 2020, Dr. Letitia Grenier facilitated a panel conversation among artists, farmers, policy leaders, scientists, and storytellers, including Mary Berry, Alex Hurt, Terry Mock, Paul Muller, and Dr. John Zahina-Ramos. The event is the first of several planned discussions to explore themes in Common Ground, a narrative feature drama currently in pre-production, and written by event host Nada Djordjevich. Common Ground is set on an organic farm in California, and, like our panelists, the story examines the sustainability of contemporary life, through a realistic yet hopeful lens.
