July 2020 Blog Update

Hello!

As many of you know, the past several years have been a period of transition for me personally and professionally. At last, the dust has settled and things are moving ahead in ways that I had hoped they would when this journey back to the Midwest began.

My long-term studies of the benefits of small-scale sustainable agriculture are continuing and, in fact, thriving! The 2017 & 2018 seasons were spent establishing a new food growing operation and working out basic issues. During the 2019 season I was able to do some solid growing and data collection, but on only about half of the growing space I had available. Now that is behind me and this season (2020) is turning out to be an excellent year. I have been able to cultivate all available growing and have been collecting some really great data. I look forward to analyzing the data this coming winter and reporting that through speaking engagements and this website.

The growing season is half over! Stay the course, harvest much and we will chat again soon.
