Dr. John is the author of Just One Backyard: One Man’s Search for Food Sustainability, and is one of the country’s foremost authorities on the economic, ecological, and health benefits of growing your own fruits, vegetables, and herbs.

Dr. John has appeared on the PBS series “Victory Garden’s Edible Feast,” presented at the Walt Disney World garden club, and shared his knowledge with gardeners nationwide.
